What if I need Pain Medication for True Pain or Surgery?
The patient can be treated for pain with alternative surgical procedures. Your Buprenorphine medication will be stopped at least 36 hours prior to the surgery/procedure. You will be re-induced when you are ready for Buprenorphine. You may experience mild withdrawals.
